Here are 3 tips for choosing a good doctor:

* Ask your friends. Getting a personal reference is the best way to choose a doctor. 

* Ask your other doctors. Your dentist may know a great podiatrist. Your chiropractor may know a great internist. If you like one doctor, you may very well like their choices for you in another doctor. 

* If insurance is important, make sure your doctor is covered under your insurance plan BEFORE you meet with him or her.
