Q: Dear April Masini,

The other day during a meeting at work I was mindlessly doodling in my notepad when my co-worker looked over at me and said she could tell a lot about me from what I was drawing and tried to make me draw trees. I honestly don't believe that my mindless doodles tell anything about me; they're just doodles! What do you think; can a a scribbled tree tell you anything about me?

Sincerely,

Doodle-Do

A:

Dear Doodle-Do,

A cigar is never just a cigar. And a doodle is never just a doodle.

What your tree says about your outlook on relationships:

If your tree is bare bones....You're very busy and not that interested in details. You've got a scattered professor outlook on life, and you're low maintenance in relationships. On the other hand, anniversary gifts and other such gifts you give may be modest and simple.

If your tree is leafy, and surrounded by grass and other details....You're a high maintenance person who gives and expects a lot in relationships. You're also a creature of comfort who thinks camping is for other folks, while hotel suites with room service are definitely your cup of tea.

If your tree has fruit on it...You are a creative person who sees and thinks out of the box in relationships. What you see is not what you get when it comes to you. People will be surprised by how much is beneath your surface. Artistic is your middle name.
