Lucite jewelry is a great way to accessorize on a budget.

But there are some tricks to lucite jewelry:

* Too much is too much. Wear one piece of lucite jewelry and nothing else. You don't want to look like an overly decorated Christmas tree.

* Wear your lucite jewelry without other jewelry. One chunky bracelet or a chunky ring is a great way to show your style and dress up an outfit. Mixing lucite jewelry with other "genre" jewelry like gold, sterling, or marquisite just doesn't work. 

* If you're looking for some fabulous lucite don't forget vintage stores and museum gift shops where lucite is art to wear.
