I love wearing makeup, but I feel like I never do a good job of applying it. I always hate the brushes that come with my store-bought eye shadow and my mascara just doesn't seem to curl my eye lashes perfectly. Can you suggest any tools to help me better apply my makeup?

Dear Tools of the Tantalizing,

Like a well-stocked closet, you want your bathroom to have all the supplies you need to make yourself beautiful, in order. Do inventory and re-stock every month. This is your treasure chest. Men detail their cars with meticulous care. You must make sure your makeup supplies are as cared for regularly. Online beauty supply companies make the shopping easy.

Makeup supplies you need:

* Brushes. You should have a collection of brushes that you can use for eye shadows, foundation, powder, blush and eyeliner. You should also have a brow brush –- a clean toothbrush works fine.

* Cotton swabs

* Eyelash curler

* Tweezers – invest in a great pair

* Sharpener – separate sharpeners for lip, eye or concealer pencils and crayons.

* Latex cosmetic wedges

My favorite trick:

Purchase makeup brushes in a good art supply store – much cheaper and good quality. And last but not least – now that you have this beautiful face, not just naturally beautiful, but beautifully made up, too, use it! Laugh! Smile! Send a million flirtatious looks – and enchant him.
