Q: Dear April Masini,

I just found out my high school is requiring all of us to wear school uniforms. I am not happy about this since I love fashion and setting myself apart from the rest of the students. Do you have any ideas for how I can individualize my school uniform and look different from everyone else?

Sincerely,

Not a Clone

A:

Dear Not a Clone,

School uniforms generally aren't much fun for students, but they're actually a good idea and should help get rid of some problems at your school. And even though your uniform will be the same as everyone else's, there are definitely things you can do to look like an individual!

Ways To Individualize School Uniforms:

* A great haircut. Take the emphasis off the uniform and the body and show off your beautiful face with a good haircut.

* Great skin. Again, taking the emphasis off of the uniform and the body and practicing good skin care will make the uniform unimportant. Everyone will be looking at your beautiful skin!

* Less is more when it comes to jewelry and accessories. A simple bracelet or necklace and a simple pair of earrings are all you need to set yourself apart from the crowd -- regardless of what you're wearing.

* A lovely scent. Create an aura with essential auras or a light, age appropriate perfume that is citrusy and clean.
