Q: Dear April Masini,

I am throwing a bachelor party for my friend who has made it clear there will be no strippers. He also isn't a big drinker. The only other bachelor party I've thrown was a pretty typical affair, so I'm not sure how to go about this one. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

There are lots of alternative parties! Here are a few ideas: 

* Golf and lunch

* A Vegas weekend without strippers -- poker and lots of eats

* Dream Team week -- go to training camp with your favorite sports team on a designated "civilian" dream team camp week.

* Pool, burgers and brews

* Dinner and drinks -- less time commitment for busy guests makes this one appealing. 

* For  metrosexuals a  "manscaping" weekend in hotels that offer rooms, waxing, pedicures and massages for men. Butch it up with some scotch and cigars.
