Home: Tips For Adding Valentine Romance To Your Home

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, if you don’t have to head off to a romantic inn — you can still add more romance to your home. Here are some of my favorite ideas for sprucing up you home for your Special Valentine and your kids:
1. Put some red, pink and white flowers in vases around your house. Treat your children by allowing them vases of flowers in their own rooms — a grown up touch they’ll appreciate.
2. Little stuffed animals with Valentine’s messages or treats are great pillow toppers on beds.
3. Leave your loved ones notes in unexpected places telling them you love them.
4. Buy them each a red sweater or sweatshirt for V Day.
5. Give your kids a box of valentines and some candy they can put in each envelope so that they can gift their friends. Getting them into the spirit puts a warmth into the household.
6. Replace the bathroom towels with red, pink and white towels.
7. Splurge on some Valentine’s heart themed sheets and/or p.j.s for the family.
8. Make Valentine’s day cookies or heart shaped waffles for the big V day — or any of the days leading up to it.
