The year of contradictions!
Who says the N word and gets away with it? Michael Richards does not get away with it. Chris Rock does get away with it.
Mel Gibson blames war on the Jews and does not get away with it. Orthodox Jews in Israel throw rocks at less observant Jews and do get away with it.
Rosie O’Donnell says “ching chang” and doesn’t get away with it. Asians have plastic surgery to change their natural eye shape to a more westernized shape and do get away with it.
Danny DeVito parties all night and shows up for work drunk on The View and gets away with it. The press deems his behavior cute. No one worries who’s with his kids when he says he was out all night partying and drinking. But ritney Spears, however, parties too much, and Child Services is called in even though her kids are with a babysitter. Double standard? You betcha!
Britney hires lawyers to stop a sex tape from being released, but makes it easy for photographer’s to shoot her hoo ha and post it on the internet for free.
Babies R Us
Infertility treatments are out. Adopting babies from countries and nationalities other than the parents’ own, is in. White babies are blase. Babies of color are hip.
D-List Celebrities Wanted
