Lunchtime is a great time to catch a workout. Here are some great ways to fit a workout into the lunch hour.

* If you work near a gym, join it! Take advantage of any classes and equipment there.

* If you’re lucky enough to have a gym in your company’s building, what are you reading this for? Go work out!!

* Explore your office neighborhood for all yoga, step, and other exercise classes. Keep the schedules in your desk drawer the same way you would take out menus for lunch.

* Keep a gym bag stocked in your office with everything you need to work out — clothes, shoes, towels, etc. If you have it there, you’re more likely to go.

* Power walk the mall or the main shopping street. Don’t stop, and work up a glow, while exercising your cardio-vascular system.

* Find an exercise buddy who will go with you and get you going. You can help each other to not blow off exercise at lunch.

* Find a group of exercise folks in your department, office or neighborhood at work, so that there’s always someone you can work out with.
