Candy is not immune to fashion! The pendulum swings back and forth between the new and the tried and true, and when it comes to candy, there are always new and new fangled candies, but there are the classics like Hershey bars, Babe Ruth bars and Nestle’s Crunch bars that will always have a following as long as they are being made.

Candy makers who have the patent to classic candy bars tend to alternate between new candy for the new kids and old classic candy for the new kids’ parents!

The classic candy bars appeal to anyone who likes Old School rock and roll, fashion, and basically has some fond memories of growing up during a time when classic candy bars were popular. Sense memory kicks in when an adult sees a classic candy bar that was a big treat as a child, only now, the adult is a parent with kids of his or her own. The adult will want to share not just the classic candy bar with his or her children, friends and family, but will want to relive that time in his or her life when the classic candy bar was a rare and special treat.

Classic candy bars aren’t just about the candy. They’re about the experiences that the candy inspired way back when. By having these candy bars again, now, there’s a chance to relive the good times — or just remember them fondly.
