Today: State of the Hybrids

Hot, hotter, hottest — that’s the state of the Hybrid in spite of Honda’s hybrid troubles.
The Prius is the hot new car for pampered teens in pampering parts of the country. Any parents disgusted with MTV’s My Sweet Sixteen show, because of it’s emphasis on materialism, but not ready to give up giving, is buying their teen a Prius, and high school and college campus parking lots are becoming Toyota hybrid car lot ads without even meaning to.
Soccer moms are slowly but surely switching to hybrids as they continue to do right by their children — now and in future generations.
And anyone who’s taking a road trip or is a chronic road trip taker will be doing the math and heading to a hybrid dealership as gas prices rise and the open road beckons.
In addition to families and new drivers, daters can learn a lot by their dates by what they drive. Cars always broadcast a lot about a date before the fist dinner and a movie has begun. Hybrid drivers are hip, smart and modern. They’re probably experimental and generous in bed, as evidenced by their willingness to try something new that gives back to the environment when it comes to their car.
How can you go wrong with a hybrid or a hybrid owner?
