Behavior: Why We’re Not Wearing Underwear

The sad but true reason that there is a trend in no underwear is because once again, our celebrity culture, for better or for worse, is leading the way in exposed private parts. There’s been a recent trend in papparazzi capturing images of Britney and friends going out for the evening all decked out and panty-less. What would be an embarrassment to some folks was a great way to assure attention by the celebs with too much time on their hands and not enough underwear. Britney may have started it, but then Lindsay was snapped sans undies shortly thereafter. It became not just no big deal, but titilating. Papparrzi now search out the crotch shots.

Because civilians have a tendency to lack leaders today, they look to celebs for direction, and this direction of not wearing underwear is a bad path, but nonetheless, a path that many real people are now taking.
