Do Dating Books Work?

Okay, so maybe I’m biased, having written Date Our of Your League, my own popular dating advice book for men, but the unbelievable response I’ve gotten from my readers—thanking me for laying it all out on the table—assures me that I’m on to something.

What is it that I’ve discovered? When it comes to dating successfully, most of us are surprisingly clueless! We’ve been taught how to find a great job, and how to eat healthfully, and how to build good credit, but no one ever really came around and told us how to be a great dater; how to meet people, where to take them, how to be unique and attractive. And why not? Dating is just as, if not more confusing, than any other area of our lives!

Maybe they never told us because our parent’s generation had it easier—you met in high school, you married, you popped out your babies. Whatever the reason, we’re a generation in need of help because dating, just like everything else these days, is becoming faster, more competitive…and just plain harder. Knowing the rules—oh yeah, there are definitely rules—gives daters a huge advantage. I say, why not take it!
