Black Friday

Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year — traditionally. Online shopping opportunities have most definitely cut into the populous of Black Friday shopping, and online shoppers will find a plethora of online bargains that are not offered in stores — just as in person shoppers will find items in stores that are not offered online.
The trick to doing well on Black Friday is:
1. Know what you want. Have a list of what you are intending to accomplish. What gifts do you need to buy for whom?
2. Decide what stores you want to hit and what stores you want to miss.
3. Allow a certain amount of meandering time, but stick to that schedule. The way to get off course is to stray from your list. Meandering is great because you find things you didn’t expect, but you may end up with lots of things you didn’t expect — and nothing you need. Limit your meandering time.
4. Always get return receipts — whether they’re gift receipts or regular receipts. Keep track of them for returns.
