The Benefits Of Yoga to Beginners

Yoga is a wonderful exercise for beginners for the following reasons:

* Anyone at any age can start a practice. It is a practice that is meant for people of all ages.

* There is no competition in yoga, so anyone who feels insecure about their athletic prowess need not worry.

* Yoga is a practice meant for men and women and practiced by men and women. It’s easy to find a class taught by a man or a woman.

* You don’t need a lot of equipment for yoga. Just a mat and some loose fitting clothing.

* There is a cerebral/spiritual element to yoga that makes it interesting for people who get bored with other sports or workout routines.

* You can practice yoga with a partner — either just the two of you or the two of you in a class. It’s a great date, and it’s a great thing to do as part of your ongoing life together — with your partner.

* Injuries do occur, but less often than in impact sports.

* The health benefits are myriad.
