Parental abduction is a form of kidnapping and can be prosecuted as such. Sometimes parental abduction happens because a custodial or non-custodial parent doesn’t know that the law requires the other parent’s written consent for his or her taking the child/ren out of state. Recently in the news, Britney Spears was chided by opposing counsel […]

When people are economically depressed, they get desperate, take matters into their own hands, and resort to crime. These low economic neighborhoods do not have the same benefits and […]

An engraved cigarette lighter or a Tiffany’s cigarette case spoke volumes about one’s breeding and sophistication. Now, the pendulum has swung, and fashion has placed cigarettes at the bottom of the food chain. Smoking equals loser.

Hot, hotter, hottest — that’s the state of the Hybrid in spite of Honda’s hybrid troubles.
The Prius is the hot new car for pampered teens in pampering parts of the country. Any parents disgusted with MTV’s My Sweet Sixteen show, because of it’s emphasis on materialism, but not ready to give up giving, is […]

The other day a very good point was brought up on a radio talk show I listen to. The host is an old school journalist. He attended the University of Florida back in the seventies (I think) when news was really news. I too went to the UF and studied journalism. Even in my day (1983) […]
