When I was younger I hired a lady friend of mine. She was brilliant and I knew she would work out for the company. Unfortunately, we got romantically involved and then she became irresponsible and quit without even giving notice. The friendship has never been the same, and since then, I have been wary of hiring friends, especially of the opposite sex.
