Tips on Putting Your Best Foot Forward with Summer Polish Trends

I'm going for my first summer pedicure. Do you have any advice on the hottest polish colors of the summer. I need tips to keep my feet looking beautiful now that summer is here!

Dear Pedicure Princess,

Nude is the color for summer. However, it takes a lot of makeup and grooming to look nude fashionably! Toenails were red for winter and with the summer months, clothes come off and colors are toned down. Natural color polish and baby pink or baby pearl pink as well as french tip pedicures are the look you'll be seeing on summer's most fashionable feet in 2007.

Feet are not seasonal. Shoes are. Take care of your feet year round.

Here are some foot care tips:

1. Get and use a pumice stone.

2. Moisturize your feet regularly.

3. Put your feet up. Use a foot stool, or lie on the floor and put your feet up the wall to reverse circulation.

4. Make a pedicure a monthly event year round.

5. If you have problems like warts, fungus or ingrown toenails, don't procrastinate. See your podiatrist.
