The must-have for your boyfriend's birthday are definitely shades. Sunglasses have attitude and make a statement. As with everything else, begin with the masculine classics that flatter your face. And don’t ever —and I mean ever— wear them indoors or at night. (Unless you’re Jack Nicholson. For him I’ll make an exception.)
Glasses
Glasses are a symbol of your identity and your personal style, and can become your signature fashion statement. Choosing the right frames can be costly, but if you choose wisely, they can be a worthwhile, long-term investment. Plus, they’re one of the first things people notice.
• Round Face = Square Frames
• Long Face = Round Frames
• Rectangular frames will benefit you if you’re heavyset, as they offset a chubby face.
• Wire Frames will do the trick if you’re going for a professional statement.
• Light hair typically looks best with gold and bronze
• Brown hair looks fabulous with chrome or black frames
• Gray hair looks great with brown frames
• Horn Rims will immediately put you in the computer whiz or rocket scientist class.
• Tortoise Shell is the way to go if you are a preppy, or aspire to look like one. Tortoise is a classic that never goes out of style and that looks great on most complexions.
• Folding Reading Glasses lend both a wise and sophisticated air.
