Finally! Fashion has allowed women the same freedom that Netflix allows movie afficionados -- a chance to borrow without breaking the bank! Never before has such a revolutionary trend in fashion hit the internet since fashion rental companies that allow women to borrow a Gucci, a Pucci, a Dior or more — for a mere fraction of the price. Of course, you have to give the bag, jewelry, or whatever rental you've chosen, back, just like you would a library book to the library — but fear not! Nobody at the cocktail party, Christmas soiree or New Year's Eve shindig will know you rent instead of own! All they'll see is your style and panache. And if you care to share your info, they'll think you're one smart cookie for making your resources work for you.
Celebs have always had this kind of service. Designers lend clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories to famous people who lend their star cache to the fashions. Sometimes the celebs have to return the items. Sometimes they get to keep them. Regardless, civilians now have access to the same resources - or close to them, anyway - in the form of rental fashion companies. So check out companies like Bag, Borrow, or Steal or Rent-A-Purse. They might have just what you are looking for. And there's a good reason to keep up with the current trends.
Appearance Matters
Appearance telegraphs messages about who you are. Men, like women, look for clues about who someone is when they are looking for a date or a relationship. Watches, handbags, haircuts and shoes all telegraph messages about who someone is, and it's no surprise that some guys want to date women with nice watches and designer bags. These men are looking for women who are upwardly mobile and who know how to fit into groups of successful people in all kinds of social situations. Many times men look for women will be easy to acclimate into their social situations. Men want to date women that they can take company dinners, on business trips and out with their friends without having any discrepancy in manners, goals or good times.
A woman wearing a stylish, expensive watch telegraphs that she cares about details in her appearance and in other parts of her life. A woman who wears a beat up Timex watch telegraphs that she is not that interested in accessories, jewelry or appearances. That she is wearing a watch at all does show that she cares about schedules and being places on time. But a man who's looking for someone he can take to exclusive places will most likely want to date a woman with nice watch or handbag.
All that said, any woman who is looking to date a man who travels to exclusive and successful places and will want to take her to lavish events, should immediately start to update her look. A great haircut, good makeup, the right clothing (meaning clothing that is appropriate for what you are doing, fits well, and broadcasts confidence and success) as well as accessories, are all tools to enhance who you are and who you want to be with.
