Co-Habitating
Q: I just got engaged and I’m in the process of moving in with my soon-to-be husband, the problem is we both have kids and lots of stuff... I don't know what to do because we can’t fit it all, nor can we agree on what should stay and what should go. How do couples blend their tastes and belongings with out igniting WW III?

Too Close For Comfort
A: Dear Too Close For Comfort:
Who, over the age of 30, can forget the famous scene in When Harry Met Sally… when Carrie Fisher moves in with Bruno Kirby and makes him get rid of his wagon wheel coffee table?
Military Spouse Stress
Q: My husband is in the National Guard and Reserves and was just deployed, and I’m feeling so lonely and stressed out. I have three children and need to be strong for them. Do you have any advice for coping?

Soldier's Wife
A: Dear Soldier's Wife:
The stresses and strains that are shouldered by the spouses of our military men and women (to say nothing of the soldiers themselves) is Herculean, and something most of us “commoners” often seem to take for granted. And before I offer the answer to your question, I’d like to first sincerely thank you, and your family, for your awesome sacrifice.
My Best Friend's Boyfriend
Q: I made out with my best friend's boyfriend. To protect my identity, my best friend's boyfriend didn't tell her WHOM he made out with, because he didn't want his girlfriend and I to ruin our friendship. He turned around and told his best friend, a girl who happens to be a friend of his girlfriend’s, also. When his girlfriend heard that he’d made out with someone, I pretended I was shocked to hear that he made out with another girl, just so my best friend wouldn't suspect me. Now what do I do? Do I tell her the truth, before someone else does? Or do I tell his best friend to just shut her mouth and bury it?

Kiss And Tell
A: Dear Kiss And Tell
You’re asking me lots of questions, but you’re not asking the most important one, and that is why were you kissing your best friend’s boyfriend in the first place? If you really like your best friend’s boyfriend, you have to choose between being your best friend’s best friend or by being someone who makes out with her boyfriend. You can’t be both. And that’s exactly what you’re trying to be – both. It won’t work. Believe me.
Toxic Friendships
Q: I’ve had a friend for many years that I now find myself avoiding. I honestly don’t really want to return her calls any more -- all she does is criticize me and make me feel bad. Besides, whenever we go out, I always end up picking up the tab. What should I do? I have no idea how to handle the situation.

In A Toxic Friendship
A: Dear Toxic Friendship
Have you ever noticed that everyone talks about (and writes books on, and dedicates songs to…) how hard it can be to get through the loss of a romantic relationship, but when it comes to those that are platonic, mums the word? The truth is, though, that they can be just as -- if not more than -- devastating.
