First, find out your Romeo's (or your Juliet's) favorite type of pizza. Look for recipes in a cookbook or online to compile a list of the ingredients you'll need. Depending on your culinary skills and free time, you can either make everything from scratch or buy the dough from your local pizza parlor. Chop up all the toppings ahead of time and display them on platter for your date to choose from, but don't let him/her stop there...
Dress to Impress:
 | Go clean and casual with a pair of great-fitting Levis, a black t-shirt with a little Lycra, a pair of slip-on leather or suede loafers and don't forget the matching belt. |
 | If being made to order doesn't suit your fancy, try snug jeans, a pair of stilettos, a wife-beater tank top, and a tailored, white button-down shirt that's unbuttoned just enough to show a little glimpse of lacy camisole underneath. |
Devil's in the Details:
 | End the evening on a sweet note with canoli, tiramisu, or gelato. |
 | Two moderately priced Italian wines that would be the perfect accompaniment are Villa Petriolo Chianti from the Toscana region and Merlot Fabiano, 2003 from the eastern Veneto region. |
 | Music evokes emotion and few do it better than Giacomo Puccini. My favorites are Tosca, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly and Turandot. |
 | Create the "That's Italian!" ambiance by spreading votive candles (unscented) in red glass holders all over your home, starting at the entryway and ending in the bedroom. |
 | Come with a bottle of grappa; I love Williams Con Frutto. It's presented in an elegant bottle that contains a whole pear. |
 | Find a sweet little red apron and matching red panties to wear. If you're brave, greet your date at the door in nothing but these and your stilettos on! |
