How would you describe yourself?
Passionate - about everything. Playful and child-like; I love to laugh. And I definitely have a tendency to get into mischief. I've got a very overactive imagination and way too much energy for my own good. I've been called a lot of things, but boring has never been one of them!
What type of guy do you go for?
I'm a sucker for a guy who has style, class, confidence, and manners! That type of man always gets my attention - and there aren't that many around (unfortunately!). I love men who are passionate, exciting, successful and yet, still humble. An intelligent man, even a bit of an intellectual. And a great sense of humor - if a guy can make me laugh, he can have me!
What qualities do you dislike most?
Lack of integrity, dishonesty, laziness, excuses, the unwillingness to accept responsibility, and those who feel that they're somehow entitled. Articulate incompetents infuriate me as much as those who are arrogant with no accomplishments to show for it.
Can you describe your perfect date?
The reality is, I could have a good time with just about any guy who has read - and followed - my book. It teaches guys how I want to be treated, whether we go out for an ice-cream sundae (yum!) or for dinner at the most expensive restaurant in town. Both can be equally charming and romantic - if handled properly.
What really turns you on, sexually speaking?
A confident, well-dressed man with great manners really turns me on. When those qualities are present I like to dress up and play seductress.
What turns you off?
Bad hygiene! Bad manners, selfishness, bad style, or no style.
What was the best pick-up line you've heard?
It was the combination of a straightforward handshake, while looking me straight in the eyes, along with "Hi, I'm So an So. I don't want to intrude, but I just had to tell you you're absolutely stunning." Wow! Confidence and class personified!
Did it work?
You better believe it!
Could you date a guy if he was all of the things in your book, but not great-looking?
Absolutely! In fact, I've never gone for the "pretty boy" - I mean never! Give me an average-looking guy with the qualities I described earlier because that's a guy with class, style and charisma! I'll take him any day over the good-looking guy, as would just about any woman.
What makes you feel sexy?
I'm a sort of girly-girl. I love high heels and lingerie. I like to play dress up, and my favorite is as a Catholic schoolgirl. I feel sexy when I look sexy and that means I like to dress sexy. It's highly unlikely that you'd find me in oversized jeans and tennis shoes on a date. I'm going to be wearing something like a black leather mini-skirt and thigh high boots or a man's tank t-shirt and tight fitting, bare, midriff-revealing jeans.
Well, what do you wear to work?
Suits, albeit they're form-fitting and on the short side. I refuse to believe that a woman has to look like a man, and dress like a man, to be in business. In fact, I think being strong, smart, and feminine can work to a woman's advantage. The key is to look hot while still delivering results.
Have your opinions gotten you into trouble?
Not "trouble-trouble", but there's no doubt that I've generated controversy. Not necessarily because of anything I've done overtly, rather because I won't conform. I'm simply unwilling to make my decisions based upon being "politically correct" and because of that, some people (usually women) get angry or offended.
Like who? Give an example.
Well, I was singled out by Ms. Magazine as "A woman to watch out for". And they definitely didn't mean it as a compliment.
Why?
Mostly because of my involvement with "Baywatch" and "Miss Universe". If it were up to them, women wouldn't be seen on TV, or anywhere else, in bathing suits - especially if they look good in them!
Where does your confidence come from?
The passion I have for every aspect of my life, my will to win and refusal to quit, combined with the belief that the world is divided into two groups of people - those who believe they can, and those who believe they can't. Both are correct! And you will never find me in the second group!
