Halloween Costume Ideas for When You're Pregnant
Great Dress Up Tips for MothersTo-Be on Halloween
Dear April Masini,
I LOVE dressing up for Halloween, but I'm six months pregnant and can't find a costume to fit. Do you have any advice or ideas?"

April Masini's Advice :
Dear One in the Oven,
All it takes is a little creativity and you can be the coolest looking mom with the funniest Halloween costume. In fact, your pregnant stomach could make for a better costume than the other mom's on the block.
3 Quick and Easy Halloween Costumes for Pregnant Women (with a sense of humor):
- Go as Britney Spears.
She's always pregnant, right? Get your husband to dress up as Kevin Federline.
How to do it? Wear anything that doesn't fit right, and is too revealing. Don't quite do your hair. Put on a big pair of sunglasses, a blonde wig, and a big smile -- oh, and your best southern accent. Dress hubby up in over-sized gangsta-style clothing a la Mr. Spears, and carry a bunch of Huggies.
- Go as a buddha.
How to do it? A Buddha wig or a careful hair style with lots of product to hold it in place. Some gold or silver paint to give yourself a revered quality, loose fitting trousers and a vest, and your best jolly laugh.
- Go as a pregnant belly dancer!
How to do it? Nab a ready made costume in the largest size available. Or make a pair of harem pants and an I Dream of Jeannie top with lots of henna on your hands and feet. Watch Shakira's videos of Hips Don't Lie for more ideas.
